I noticed the blue light on the front never came on either, does that mean it's a faulty product? Because I've been able to actually capture video only when I change the audio options from 'WDM 2863 audio' to 'Realtek AC97 audio' but I'm still not able to capture audio, which is just as important. Please help me, I'm wasting away trying to work this thing.

Best Answer: Hi Justin, and welcome to Yahoo!Answers: Since you are new here, just be assured you are not the only one who experiences problems with cheap (under $75 range) AV capture gadgets. Almost all of these use the same 1 or 2 Audio/Video to USB converter chips, and it's usually a USB driver problem (some are better than others) that causes issues on Windows PCs. Even though you didn't tell us what Windows O/S version you are running (an important detail, especially if you are using Vista/Win7/Win8), most USB gadget makers warn you to NOT plug in the device until AFTER you have loaded the drivers & installed the software (in your case, ArcSoft ShowBiz and ArcSoft Media Converter, which Gigaware bundles with their gadget).
