I've been having problems with my wireless network adapter for some time, but because it is intermmitent I have not called for support. I know it is my laptop that is the problem and not our network, because our other HP laptop and our other devices are never affected. I'd like to just buy and new one and install it. The Intel web page shows that there may be additional software available for this adapter and my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 operating system, but I don't know if it is applicable to me because it is not on the HP website. (My BIOS is F.1B if that is important). I haven't opened the laptop case to look for further product identification.

What other information can I give you? Thank you for your help!!!
